An online course that takes you from the Prusa CORE One box to your first 3D printed model. You learn to set up and calibrate the printer, prepare models in PrusaSlicer and create simple objects in Tinkercad and Autodesk Fusion. It is designed for people starting 3D printing from scratch.
What you will learn
- Unboxing the printer, mounting the printing plate and the main components
- Installation with the Setup Wizard: connecting to Wi-Fi, the self-test, loading the filament and calibrating the first layer
- First print: the printer menu, starting the print and handling the finished model
- Downloading 3D models from Printables.com
- Preparing models for printing (slicing) with EasyPrint and PrusaSlicer: supports, orientation, cutting objects and pauses for multicolor prints
- Basic troubleshooting and printer maintenance
- Creating your own model in Tinkercad and Autodesk Fusion, with the snowman and vase example projects
- Additional sources of information and filament materials
