Aker - Tray delivery robot

We develop custom software for the Aker robot. It ensures a unique experience for the restaurant's customers and facilitates the staff's tasks, especially during busy periods of the day. Features are developed around the beneficiary's needs.

Aker ensures intelligent delivery of dishes to customers, creates an experience for them and streamlines processes within a restaurant. It determines the route it takes, makes changes to it as the environment changes, and completes its task.

Starting from a series of basic functionalities, we develop customized functionalities for each beneficiary for Aker. Thus, the specific business needs will be met through the newly developed functionalities.


Basic functionalities
1. Automatic delivery

Aker will bring the order requested by them to the customers on its tray rack. Having 3 levels at his disposal, he can deliver the order to customers. A platform for processing orders at restaurant tables can also be integrated on the tablet.
2. Autonomous navigation

High accuracy in identifying the shortest route with the help of three components that ensure the distance to obstacles, traversing the trajectory on the map and constantly updating the environment in which it is located. The three components are are ultrasonic sensors, infrared sensors and lidar.
3. Autonomous charging

Aker detects low battery and identifies the fastest route to the charging mechanism. From the moment the robot approaches the mechanism, it will charge for a period of 12 hours to reach a maximum battery level.
4. Automatic obstacle avoidance
Aker increases the productivity of current employees in a restaurant and helps them with the large volume of orders. Thanks to the development of functionalities dedicated to navigation, Aker detects the proximity of obstacles and redefines the route it takes.
Besides the basic functionalities, functionalities requested by the beneficiary can be developed. They can enhance already existing functionality or be custom built.
