Introducing the Cruzr robot

Cruzr is a next-generation service robot, an autonomous humanoid robot designed to optimize relationships with both customers and company employees.
Cruzr service robot is actually a humanoid, autonomous and intelligent robotic platform. It is equipped with a wide variety of sensors (Lidar, sonar, infrared, depth sensor, etc.) to ensure smooth movement through its environment. The Cruzr is non-bipedal, has omnidirectional wheels and a total of 15 degrees of freedom from head to waist.

Cruzr is a robot dedicated to business in that it offers multiple customer-oriented functionalities:

• Can communicate effectively thanks to its facial recognition function;
• Provide different ways to interact with customers - vision, voice, text, action - for a richer experience;
• It also has a video conferencing tool, which facilitates communication between teams within the company;
• Cruzr automatically recharges by navigating to its charging station when the battery is low.

Cruzr is primarily designed to improve a company's customer service. It can be used at home, in a lobby, at an airport, at a shop or at the reception of a company headquarters. It can help customers from the very beginning of their journey, providing all the necessary support and information. The U-SLAM technology developed by UBTECH also enables it to locate and map its environment to effectively guide customers and partners.

Due to its data analysis features, it is also an invaluable source of help for companies that want to collect, store and analyze customer data, such as the degree of interaction with products/services or customer satisfaction, etc.

• Voice: Thanks to the two-channel stereo speakers, Cruzr is able to speak in English and Chinese
• Vision: Cruzr is equipped with a 13MP camera that allows it to effectively understand its environment. The images are processed by software capable of identifying faces in milliseconds. Cruzr is an open source platform that also allows you to implement third-party resources for gender and age estimation. Biometric data is processed by the customer, in compliance with the GDPR, with notice and consent.
• Text: Cruzr's built-in 11.6-inch touchscreen tablet can display any type of information (text, images, videos...) making interaction even smoother
• Action: You can program Cruzr to act differently and do things based on a specific event or series of events.
