What you will learn

• Assembling the robotic arm and calibrating the servos
• Introduction to Linux (Ubuntu): files, common commands, the editor and the virtual machine
• Controlling the arm from the app, with the PS2 controller and from the PC software
• Preparing the working environment: the expansion board, the STM32 firmware and JupyterLab
• Basic control: the RGB light, the buzzer, the servos, memorizing actions and handling blocks
• Image processing with OpenCV
• AI vision: recognizing gestures, colors, faces, objects and garbage
• Tracking color blocks and faces with the PID algorithm, plus vision-based grabbing and sorting of blocks
• Robot Operating System (ROS): nodes, messages, services, RViz, URDF and Gazebo
• ROS + OpenCV applications and hand, posture and face detection with MediaPipe
