Description
The Original Prusa MK4S MMU3 combines Prusa's latest desktop FDM printer with the Multi Material Unit 3, which lets the single-extruder machine print with up to 5 colors or materials. The printer arrives assembled, so you plug it in, let it run its self-test and start printing. Automatic calibration, one-click printing and profiles tested in-house make it a practical choice for schools, workshops, businesses and makers.

Multi-material printing with the MMU3
The MMU3 loads up to five filaments. You slice the model in PrusaSlicer, start the print and the unit handles the filament changes. Each change takes 25 to 35 seconds, and the optimized nozzle cleaning keeps waste low. According to Prusa Research, the MMU3 produces up to three times less filament waste than other single-nozzle multi-material systems. It works best with the standard nozzle, which is pre-installed on the assembled printer. The package also includes the high-flow nozzle.
