Description

The Shining 3D EinScan Libre is an all-in-one handheld 3D scanner that is completely wireless and works without markers. It combines blue laser and infrared scanning with a 48 MP color camera. The scanner has a screen, an NVIDIA processor and internal storage, so the whole flow from scan to mesh can run on the device without a laptop. It is aimed at design offices, industrial services, heritage and museum work, and product design, and anywhere high mobility, high accuracy and realistic color are needed.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a computer to scan?

No. The scanner has a screen, processing and storage built in, so you can scan, generate the mesh and export without a PC. PC software is available for further processing.

Can it scan black or shiny objects?

Yes. The IR Adaptive mode with 38 infrared lines is made for black and very reflective surfaces.

What sizes of object can it scan?

Objects from 0.1 m to over 10 m, depending on the mode.

Does it capture colour?

Yes. A 48 MP colour camera captures texture, and alignment by texture is supported in Laser HD mode.

Does it need markers or a turntable?

No markers are required, and no turntable is included.

How long does the battery last?

A set of two rechargeable batteries gives about 3 hours of scanning, and the batteries can be swapped quickly.
