Description

The MINGDA Mextru-1300HT uses FGF (Fused Granular Fabrication) technology. A screw extruder is fed with plastic pellets, which cost much less than filament, and delivers an output of up to 3 kg/h. That is up to 10 times faster than filament FDM. The printer offers a huge 1300 × 1300 × 1300 mm build volume, a 400 °C nozzle with three-zone heating, a 70 °C enclosure, servo motors and a vacuum feeder, and it works with more than 100 types of pellets.

Key features

  • Pellet extrusion (FGF) with material that costs much less than filament
  • Output up to 3 kg/h, up to 10 times faster than filament FDM
  • Huge build volume of 1300 × 1300 × 1300 mm for large one-piece parts
  • 400 °C all-metal nozzle with 3-zone heating
  • 70 °C enclosure to avoid warping and edge delamination
  • Servo motors and a vacuum feeder
  • More than 100 pellet types and support for multi-machine mass production

Typical uses

  • Large one-piece parts that would need to be split on a filament printer
  • Mass production with several machines running on low-cost pellets
  • Parts in common pellet materials such as PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PC, PA and PP
  • Industrial sites with a three-phase 380 V supply

Frequently asked questions

What is FGF?

FGF stands for Fused Granular Fabrication. A screw extruder melts plastic pellets directly instead of filament, which lowers material cost and raises output.

How fast can it print?

The print output is up to 3 kg/h, which the manufacturer describes as up to 10 times faster than filament FDM.

Which materials can it use?

It works with more than 100 types of pellets, for example PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PC, PA and PP.

What power supply does it need?

It needs a three-phase 380 V supply and has a maximum power of 15,000 W.

What are the machine dimensions?

The machine measures 2116 × 2700 × 2403 mm and prints a 1300 × 1300 × 1300 mm volume.
