The workshop and the Pepper service centre are in Iași, Romania, at Strada Rândunica 2, in the Fablab building. The registered office is in Focșani.
Is IRIS Robotics related to the IRIS research labs?
No. IRIS Robotics in Iași is a commercial company and is not related to the academic labs named IRIS (Carnegie Mellon, Stanford, ETH Zürich, University of Notre Dame) or to Iris Ohyama.
Who is IRIS Robotics
IRIS Robotics is an engineering company in Iași, Romania, founded in 2017 and an authorized Prusa reseller in Romania. It supplies, configures and integrates humanoid robots and Embodied AI systems (Unitree, AgiBot, PNDbotics, Pepper, NAO, temi and more), 3D printers and scanners (Prusa, CreatBot and more), and custom software. It combines hardware with AI software development, integration, training and technical support for research, education and companies across Romania and Europe. More than a distributor, we build custom AI applications (voice, LLM/ChatGPT), integrate robots into real labs and workflows, and support procurement through EU funds and public tenders.
Our story
The name I.R.I.S. comes from the acronym Intelligent Robots, Independent Systems and underpins the vision of our company.
IRIS ROBOTICS is a company with its registered office in Focșani and its workshop in Iași, founded in the summer of 2017 by Andrei Iulian Marin, offering high-end engineering solutions. Our vision is to build Romania's favorite technology ecosystem for automation, animatronics and robotics, where our clients, employees and partners share their experience with one another and pool resources to create value for everyone.
We distribute 3D printers and humanoid robots, and we build bespoke software solutions. IRIS Robotics helps you bring the right technology into your business.
