Description

The CreatBot D1000 Pro HS is a large industrial FDM 3D printer with a build volume of 1050 x 1050 x 1050 mm, about one cubic metre. It is an improved version of the D1000, optimized for high speed with Klipper firmware and a new hotend with a flow rate of up to 90 mm³/s. It is built for companies, universities and workshops that make full-size parts, prototypes, tools, molds and jigs in-house.

Key features

  • Dual extruder with automatic lifting. The hotend reaches 420 °C and prints PLA at high speed, water-soluble PVA supports and engineering materials such as ABS, PC, nylon and carbon fibre composites. If the filament runs out, the printer switches to the spare nozzle automatically.
  • Actively heated chamber up to 80 °C. It reduces thermal stress, warping and moisture problems and improves layer adhesion.
  • Patented thermal compensation. An intelligent chamber heating algorithm and the Z-Axis Magic Box technology compensate for frame and build plate expansion.
  • Integral steel frame for stability and a long service life.
  • Quick-heating bed with a removable magnetic platform and automatic leveling by eddy-current induction.
  • Camera monitoring lets you watch and control the process remotely, and the printer pauses at the end of the filament.
  • Air filtration with a HEPA and carbon filter, a filament drying chamber and a 10 inch color touch screen.

Typical uses

  • Large functional prototypes and design models
  • Molds, jigs, fixtures and tooling made in-house
  • Spare parts and end-use parts in engineering materials such as carbon fibre nylon

Frequently asked questions

What is the build volume?

It is 1050 x 1050 x 1050 mm with one extruder and 995 x 1050 x 1050 mm with two extruders.

Which materials can it print?

It prints PLA, ABS, ASA, PP, PETG, PC, nylon and TPU, as well as carbon fibre and glass fibre reinforced materials such as UltraPA-CF and PPS-CF. PVA can be used as a soluble support.

Is the chamber heated?

Yes. The enclosed chamber is actively heated up to 80 °C.

Which slicing software can I use?

It works with CreatWare, Orca Slicer, Cura, Simplify3D and PrusaSlicer on Windows and macOS.

How does it handle running out of filament?

With dual nozzle auto resume, it switches to the spare nozzle when the filament ends, and it also pauses at the end of the filament.
