Description

The Print BIG Everest is built to print high and print fast. It makes objects up to two meters tall in a single print, so you no longer need to join parts from several smaller prints. That means far less time spent on bonding and assembly and a stronger, seamless end product.

A new print head capable of more than 500 g per hour with thick layers makes tall prints practical. A two meter tall glass printed in just 17 hours (8.2 kg, 1.2 mm layer height, 2 perimeters, not vase mode).

Included and optional

The included extras are the enclosure, the Print BIG Griffin and Griffin Ultra print heads, a large internal spool mount, casters, a tilt screen, HIWIN Z rails, jam and crush detectors and a PT100 thermistor. Optional extras are a magnetic bed, an IDEX dual print head, an air filter and various print head add-ons and spare parts.

Installation notes

It ships as a self-assembly kit, so it can pass through narrow and short doorways
The room needs a high ceiling, as the printer is over three meters tall
Spool changes and maintenance involve work at height. A platform ladder is recommended, and no ladder or safety equipment is supplied
