Description

The CreatBot PEEK-250 is a professional ultra-high temperature 3D printer built for advanced polymers such as PEEK, PEI (ULTEM) and PPSU. A fully enclosed, actively heated chamber of up to 200 °C, a nozzle of up to 480 °C and a 200 °C bed let you print and anneal demanding materials in a single machine.

Why a hot chamber matters

PEEK needs about 180 °C to be annealed effectively. Printing and annealing in the same heated chamber avoids large temperature differences that can crack a model, and it allows a controlled temperature transition for better mechanical properties. PEI (ULTEM) also prints best at an ambient temperature of around 180 °C. Because PEI is hygroscopic, it can be dried directly in the chamber at 150 °C for 4 hours. The automatic annealing programme can run 180 °C for 5 hours, followed by 120 °C for 5 hours.
