Description

The servo controller is a control board that you can fit to a robot to drive and coordinate its servo motors. With 16 channels and 16 MB of onboard memory, it is built for makers, students and teachers who want precise, repeatable servo movements programmed through Arduino.

  • Current-limiting protection. The servo output is isolated from the processor, so a surge in servo current cannot damage the processor. This also greatly reduces the risk of burning out a servo motor when its rotor is locked.

  • Online debugging is supported, and you do not need to install a driver yourself.
  • TTL serial communication. The servos can be linked with other single-chip controllers that support TTL, and those chips can send instructions to the controller.
  • Two offline operating modes let the robot run its stored actions without a connected computer.
  • Simple wiring. A built-in power switch keeps cabling to a minimum, and the control board has only a single power interface.
