Adam U is the upper-body version of the Adam family: a head, a torso and two arms mounted on a height-adjustable column base (no legs). It has 31 degrees of freedom: arms with 13 each (including dexterous fingers with 6 degrees of freedom), a waist with 3 (with a safety brake) and a head with 2. Because Adam-U shares the Adam "family" design, algorithms can be migrated at no cost to the full-size Adam robots.
Both editions include the teleoperation kit: inertial full-body motion capture (Noitom PNLink) and VR (Meta Quest 3). The difference is in the hands. U Pro Max has Inspire RH56E2 dexterous hands with 6 degrees of freedom and force sensors, while U Pro has standard dexterous hands with 6 degrees of freedom.
The robot has a complex structure. Please keep a safe distance and use it with care.
