Description

Unitree H1, the platform the H1-2 is derived from.

Video of the Unitree H1, the predecessor platform of the H1-2.

Unitree H1-2

Universal full-size humanoid robot: 1.78 m, 27 degrees of freedom and 360 N·m of torque at the leg joints.
Unitree H1-2
360° depth perception with 3D LiDAR and a depth camera.
Peak torque density of 189 N·m/kg and fully internal wiring.
H1-2 is the second generation of the H1 humanoid platform. Compared with the H1, it has arms with 7 degrees of freedom (instead of 4) and legs with 6 (instead of 5), for much more versatile manipulation and walking. All cables are built into the structure, the joints have dual encoders and the compute module can hold up to 3 additional computing devices (Intel i7 or Jetson Orin NX) inside the housing.
The table below compares the two generations as presented by the manufacturer. In short: the H1 is lighter and much faster (3.3 m/s, with potential above 5 m/s), while the H1-2 is built for strength and dexterity, with more degrees of freedom, a higher payload and a built-in compute unit.
This humanoid robot has a complex structure and very high power. Please keep a safe distance from the robot and use it with care.
The maximum arm payload varies significantly with the arm's extension posture.
Humanoid technology is still at an early, exploratory stage. Please make sure you fully understand the limitations of humanoid robots before you buy.
  • 360° depth perception: 3D LiDAR + depth camera
  • Arm mobility: 7 degrees of freedom (vs 4 on the H1)
  • Leg mobility: 6 degrees of freedom (vs 5 on the H1)
  • High torque: up to 360 N·m at the leg joints
  • Dual encoders: precise and stable, interference-free
  • Fully internal wiring: compact design, improved mobility
  • Expandable compute module: up to 5 optional boards inside the housing
  • Quick-release battery: 0.864 kWh
The Unitree H1 keeps its balance when pushed. The H1-2 is derived from the same platform.
